Please take this as advice, not criticism. You have the wrong mindset with "it's all I can have, and I'm not giving up my fish". What you want, and what the fish need, are two different things. You basically said it yourself you have no plans of upgrading. A 55 is not enough for ONE full grown devil. Please reconsider. The fish look great, but trust me, they won't for long.

this is true. those devils won't be happy in there for too long. you'll have fatalities soon enough.... i've been down this same road years ago and learned my lesson. now, one in a 75G is minimum.
 
If it gets out of control maybe ill invest in a bigger than, but for now i'll see how the 55g goes, they have plenty of room to swim around and they seem happy for the most part, tank is very clean.
 
trust me dude, I had the same concerns as you did "can my floor hold the weight?" If your floor can handle a 55 gal, it can at least hold a 90 gallon.
