ok ima try and get rid of himPyramid_Party;4746583;4746583 said:Just get rid of the RD. What do you want, a single fish in a 150 or a community tank? Get rid of the RD and you can keep it a community tank. To me that seems like the easier option.
im probably gonna end up returning the oscar after it heals in my friends tank but wat would be good tankmates for an rd that can stand their ground????jowens;4746635;4746635 said:I don't see anything wrong with a single, cool, personable RD in a 150. There is no doubt that he will grow into that tank, which i think is suitable for one 12-14" aggressive cichlid. Some people will keep a cichlid that size in a 48"x18" tank, but I don't think that it usually does the fish justice.
A full grown RD most likely will defend a territory larger than 6' square in the wild.
If you like him, keep him.
yea but im curious if any other fish can live with an rd i mean 150 gallons is a lot of tank space do you think its possible to keep the devil with other fish???Pyramid_Party;4746658;4746658 said:Maybe a female RD. A pair of RD's would be nice. That's what I would do if I were to keep the RD. But if you get rid of the RD you got alot more options.
The only problem with a pair of RD's is if they spawn you gotta do something with the babies.
