My Red Devil

very nice looking red devil. :grinyes: how big is it and where did you get it from? :D
 
he's about six inches now, got him from a petco store when he was only about an inch and a half. He was the only one without any grey on him, a nice yellow/orange. definitely my favorite
 
nice lookin fish...mine are about the same size but mine have more white then red...they look like koi almost...wicked nice...
 
no, he's not too bad, only if i have food with me. other than that he kind of just follows me around and looks at me....i have however been bitten twice recently while hand feeding him...hurts more than i thought it would! worth it though, as he is by far the most personable fish i have.
 
You know why they follow you and stare at you right? They're trying to decide if they can eat you :D
Actually, I figure they watch us for the same reason we watch them, that glass goes both ways y'know. Your guy looks just like my two, he's a beauty. I got both of mine at Petsmart and was afraid they might have been colored but they kept their solid orange. Nothing pisses me off more than a fish that goes bleak after you have it for a week.

whicked devil, as soon I figuer out how to post pictues, I show you mine, He's 9", of feirce killing machine, when he was about 5-6 inches, I thouight I had a midas, because he was so passive, a couple months later he killed my 7" terror, I was pissed but got over when I new I had a wild looking, very aggressive red devil. Now as soon as I walk into the room he's all over the glass trying to kill me. And forget about tank mates heal kill them instanly.
