my diablo red tolerated 3 rays for a while.started picking on the lone male ray constantly. moved the rays. Tried 2 dats. again he singled out one dat and would not leave it alone. Now theres justthe one 9 inch ntt. He has a hiding spot, but aro sometimes bugs him

Funny my Diablo red was also a bullie. I now have a big Silver arowana to keep him in check

aros need to be kept with tank mates from young
i have had about 15 Asian aros all kept with tank mates from young all were fine even when the aro was big and the tank mates were small
you can get problems if the tank mates are near the same size as they feel threatened
my big Siamese tiger fish and aro fight from time to time but they are were matched so one day the aro is boss and 2 weeks later the tiger is boss
you will always have some conflict in a mixed comm tank its all down to how much fighting you are willing to put up with
