Also I would just like to mention whenever I test the water and the test results are between 2 different colors, like say for ammonia, 0 ppm and 0.25 ppm, I always say the results on the higher end of the spectrum. In this case I would say 0.25 ppm even though its not quite that high, but is between that and 0.

The ammonia when I tested yesterday I think was even closer to 0 than 0.25.

Anyway I'm going to test the water now...

Tested the water again earlier today. Pretty much the same results except the ammonia seemed a little darker. Still under 0.25ppm though. Also might be getting the first inhabitants sooner than Sunday. Impatient parents.

If you clean the bio-balls as often as needed (weekly) in an SW system there will be no B+B on them so what's the point.

I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable trusting my very expensive SW system to "About.com" but that's just me. I luv the "tangs can live healthily for long periods of time in nitrate levels in the multiples of 100's ppm range" - This is BS as is their "you can cycle a tank in one day."

No worries tho I've got a reef - had it for a couple years now - but I'm not published so I guess I'm just lucky cause everything you read on the internet is true - it has to be or the internet police would remove it. - I'm done with this one too........
