My test kit was purchased less than 2 months ago with a best by july 2016 date on it. Barely a month.
You don't understand, it's not that it's just old, it's that sometimes test kits are faulty and just don't read correctly, this has happened to me.

My test kit has been giving me very accurate readings. I had ammonia and nitrites readings for a while, but that ended about 3 weeks ago.
There no way of knowing which test kits are accurate or not, but I can tell you that if it's reading no ammonia only a month in, then it's not right.

Oh and also i found these 3 tiiny tiny submerged translucent bubbles that are squishy. Is this bubble algae cuz isnt bubble algae green, not translucent? Everything ive read online indirectly says (in terms of getting rid of bubble algae), "Welcome to Hell"...
