I think mine ate my 8" Bicher just the other day and now hes not looking so good! Ive had mine 6 months and he is a good 12"
Hes tell you that he wants more food!

12" at 6 months???? How are u guys getting such small rtc's in such long periods of time. R U guys keeping them in 10g and feeding once a week? Cause it should be over 20" at that time. Hell mine is 26" after like 9 months. He also has never eaten his smaller tank mates....the reason your prob are is because u don't feed them enough

I'd have to say that you are the murderer, and that the rtc did what is natural. If it will fit in its mouth it can a probably will dissappear.

I assume you state your RTC grew from 2"-3" to 26" in 9 months. This is a superb growth rate. Vast majority of RTC keepers, report 1.5'-2' TL (with the tail) at most after one year and 2.5'-3' TL in 2 years. I never was able to achieve even that rate. So you must be doing something real right and your fish has very good genes too.

No surprise, probably hella stunted rtc and peacock bass if theyv both been together for 7 months and are still in these sizes.
