congrats!! no inbreeding though.. go get another bp... lol "him an his mother had a batch of eggs" ...lol you will do it with her and you will like it!!:ROFL:
 
Line breeding and inbreeding is the same thing. Selective breeding also falls into the category of "inbreeding" also.

While line breeding may involve a certain amount of inbreeding to fix certain traits, they are not exactly the same thing. In a controlled line breeding program quite often fish that are removed by more than 1 generation are bred, such as "cousins" with would mean that those fish shared a common ancestor. (grandparent) Also, at some point introducing unrelated fish with similar desirable traits/genes (outcrossing) also generally takes place within most linebreeding programs.

A good read by a breeder on inbreeding, outcrossing, and line breeding.

Its been over a year and out of all the fry I know of 3 and non of them have faded. The largest of the spawn is approx 8" and the one I have is only 5" I am not sure what sex it is but im guessing female due to the sloowwww groth rate.
