i was contacted by a guy who wants to trade my flowerhorn for his hybrid this is what he says"5+ inch red devil x texas x flowerhorn
Very unsual fish -- has the mouth and head of red devil. A few spots from the texas flowerhorn. Deep bright yellow colour. I believe it is a male as my young big head green texas male did not take to it - so remained in a divided tank. I would be interest in considering a trade for a proven egg laying female (red flowerhorn, red devil, midas or king kong parrot)
You can see for you self interesting fish and more and more white spots continue to develop on it"

the second picture is my FH the first is his fish, anyone think i should go for the trade?????? comment back please.

yes it is

I just picked up this male Flowerhorn/Texas(at least that's what I think he is) that's about the same size with amazing pearling.I'm definitely gonna attempt to breed them and get some nice SRTs.He's at the beginning of developing a hump so that's a plus. This was 10 minutes after I added him,he's darkened up quite a bit since and has a nice flower line but she's already starting to kick his @ss a little,I might have to put in a divider. Also,I got him for $12.99..

Whelp, she really kicked his @ss so i had to separate them.I've never tried breeding through a divider though so any tips would be appreciated.I'm putting them in a 75gal with the typical white grate divider you see on here.

I have a little two inch one that's pealing and looking alot like yours at the same size. I hope it gets red like yours did when it gets older.

WOW.. I have never seen such a hijacking like this one.. to the op, what a nice fish, try breeding her with a managuense and see if you can come up with the elusive red jag everyone wants..
