sweet lookin red texas. pump him up. cant wait for updates

pumping him up indeed :)

Grand Sumo, Grand Sumo Red, Ching Mix Headbooster all into the fray :)

and got him a 90gallon tank 4ftx1.5ftx2ft yesterday for him to grow old in...will be setting that up tomorrow.

currently he is with a leopard sailfin pleco who is a bit bigger than him and whom he chases around if he gets bored...is it wise to try adding in a convict or will he hunt the convict down to its doom?

so many questions :)

very nice!!!

NOt an SRT...

Just trying to educate bro thats all... anyway I love the fish and the setup, how long have you had him?

SRT 's are found in various colors...Red, Orange, Pink, and sometimes yellow.

SRT's are fish that have faded from a "Traditionally" looking Green/Blue texas, to either one othose colors.

Red color is the most favorite and most pricey type of SRT. Orange is the next, and so , and so on.

I believe this was discussed in a previous thread.

So bottom bottom line, a "traditional" looking Red Texas (that looks like regular tex), that Fades and shows color (Red, Orange, Pink, etc) is considered to be SRT. With the red color being the most sought after and expensive of the strins of SRT. The color it fades to, contibutes the grade(quality) of fish. BTW, Red SRT sometimes lighten up to look orange when Breeding.

Just my 2 cents!!!!!!

thanks guys :)

got him a couple of months back at an aqua show...poor thing was the first display in a tiny 2x2 tank and had to bear the brunt of ignorant people tapping the glass :(

now he taps the glass if i keep my finger on it :D
