My Redtail

They'll eat live, prepared, frozen, heaters, gravel, suction cups, glass shards, ect. Mine is currently 15" after 5 months. He's catching up to my TSN that is 11 months and 17 1/2" Your's is so dark. Mine has maintained his baby coloration lol. Still has the white spots by the dorsal fin, and tail is more pinkish than red, but very dark black spots all over. He also still has the white tips to his fins.

How are your redtails growing so fast???? I got mine when he was about 10". It's been three months and he still is 10-11". He just fatter. I do w/c's twice a week. He eats jumbo raw shrimp( The big ones that cost $55 a bag) Feeders, and massivore pellets. He hasn't gotten longer just wider. He's in 100 gallon now with a wet dry filtering with a powerhead to help. You guys must be juicing your cats!!!!!!! Maybe mines a midget redtail catfish

I like how you put that. Yeah mine still has them also the white spots kind of. He usually is darker but the water wasnt as warm as it usually is, when it cools off he gets lighter, thats what Ive noticed anyway
