My rescued pitbull puppy...

Good for you! I wish more people would think like that.
My daughter and her husband rescued a pit bull mix from the parking lot of their apartments, and she is a wonderful family member. I myself have a chihuahua that was abandoned at my house 10 years ago. Best dog I ever had!

People that would have a pit bull around a small child never cease to amaze me.

Goes to show that post count has zero to do with intelligence

Shes beautiful. looks alot like our white Amstaff puppy. Not a rescue, but he came from an AKC registered breeder. The owners conditions for those dogs were amazing.

You mean about how smart they are, right? Look at the statistics of attacks from Labs VS. pits.

It is reported on temperament tests conducted by the American Temperament Test Society the American Pit Bull Terrier has a current passing rate of 83.9% -- compared to only 77% of the general dog population.

She has more than doubled in size in 2 months. Shes very playful and my 8 year old rat terrier absolutely hates her! You can't get ice from the fridge without giving her a piece. She know sit, stay, get in your house (the dog crate), go outside and roll over. Shes a great dog but eats alot. We buy a 16 lb bag for the terrier every 3 months or so, we are on our 3rd 30 lb bag for the pit. She likes to chew like any puppy but it seems she prefers metal ( the ac unit, dryer vent and a gutter drain) but most recently she got a 6 pack of bud light cans. At least shes nor a fighting drunk!
