My resealed 210 leaked last night

I have resealed tanks no issues, but never would i think about resealing a leaking tank. by then to late IMHO. your lfs should take the tank back and do the job right, for free.
 
Sorry to hear. Makes me stress out about my qt 60. It probably dates back to mid to early 80s! :/
Were you able to stop the flow? Did you try the plastic bag plug?
 
If your seals are looking raggedy FM I would redo them, the true seal of your tank is the bond between the payns, the coving is there to protect that, you never want water making it to the glass bond, 60g take about 6 hours start to Finnish then 24 to 30 hours before water test.
 
did the 90 about 3 months ago, total cost about 10 bucks, this included the silicone, razor blades with scraper tool and rubbing alcohol. add 2.50 for a calking gun if you do not have one.

I should. I wipe down the insides when I wc and the seems look horrible from the constant contact. I'm really hoping to have the fish out of there in about a week, maybe 2 :/
 
ya, if they looking raggedy, pieces missing, dirt and algae underneath it, now is the time, forgot to add a good masking tape to the list, I prefer froggers.
 
I am going to have to do the 145 soon. going to be an all night 12 hour job. Jags will have to put up with a 90g for a few days and the albino oscar in the 40g.
 
After he resealed it he filled it with water and left it in the store for 3 or 4 days before he said it was good to go. I've had it filled with water for about 4 days before it sprung the leak. I didn't know about the plastic bag method. He's not charging me to fix it but I will suggest that be might need to just remove the whole piece and reglue it.
 
remove the glass, once the bond between the payns is compromised any thing else is a patch and a leak waiting to happen. IMHO.
