I'm in SW Florida, so the weather doesn't get too extreme. The coldest it got this year was the mid-30's. Anytime the temp is going to get even close to 50F, I turn on his space heater which blows warm air into his cave. On the really cold nights, I periodically check his surface temp with a laser thermometer in case I need to turn up the heater. The red heat lamp is on 24/7 and that also helps a little bit.tankyou;759701; said:Looks bigger than 3.5 foot!!! Nice specimen looks like you are doing a great job taking care of it. How is the weather where you are at? Asking because of the outside enclosure. I see you have it heated with the lights, but how is he handling the weather?
Great job again
