Nice Job! I like the pics, I've bookmarked this for when I have to transport fish. Living in the north sucks sometimes, eh? The closest real lfs is 5 hours south (Edmonton), and btw, I'm tired of the snow too. We just got some more a few days ago.
Always threads on how to move big fish long distances..that seemed to be pretty much perfect right there
Great job on the successful transport!!! I house my 23" TSN with a 21" Aro and there good with each other often rubbing each other while out-and-about swims but neither one of them are skittish though but i think they will learn to accept each other!!!!
I think they sell tubs very similar to that at HD and Lowes for about $10 here. Every time I go in there, I think "I should buy one of those for transporting fish", but haven't yet. I figured I'd use a battery powered air pump and a pre-colonized sponge filter for longer trips, but an FX5! Did you have any problems with the flow being too strong in such a small size tub?
And I can't believe you didn't put a blanket down on your seats before putting the tub in!
