This is the 4th time my rq has layed eggs for my red texas. He goes through the routine like hes fertilizing them but nothing so far so this time i pulled the rock after she layed about 25 percent of the eggs and and sat the rock on top of my tank. then i grabbed my male jag and gently sqeezed him and he squirted on the eggs. now i dont know if thats pee or fish spurm. so i put the rock back in the tex and rqs tank and after 5 mins she finished laying the rest of her eggs. Im thinking the red tex is sterile thus im hoping the sqeezing of the jag my fertilize some of the eggs. im crossing my fingers. I know you can sqeeze eggs into a cup of water and then do the male with trout but im trying it in a total diff way.
