I built it for the 180 setup in the "setup" area.....

fluidized bed filter its a good bio-filter you pump water up in to your media to make quick sand that makes a home for a large bacterial colony

I bought the tube from www.mcmaster.com...

when it comes to anything mechanical, if they dont have you really dont need it!!

Plus I got my new float switch from there, pictures coming...

Its really 4" clear sch 40 pvc, 1/2 thick 6 x 6 spuares ends, with a 1/4: deep cut to accept the tube....acrylic glue....and a 1" od 3/4" id tube down from the center about 5/8" from the bottom...looking for the right media now Any thoughts on that?
