I've only been feeding gizzards for a week or so but I was feeding him/her liver for a while... Also eats night crawlers, canned shrimp and soaked freeze dried krill. Seems to like the meaty foods best though! I've heard of plenty of other people that feed gizzards... Plus rtc's are primarily carnivorous... So they eat manly fish and crustations (types of meat...)

That's fine by me man, I'm not trying to sell you on n e thing. Gizzards really aren't that oily though... I cut them into strips and get rid of the fat. I've heard of people raising fish mainly on HOT DOGS, Now that's OILY! But the fish looked completely healthy to be honest....
The proteins and minerals are very different in fish and mammals. Every now and then isnt bad but they should still be fed mainly fish and shrimp.
