I'm considering an outdoor Tank/pond for him this summer let the natural sunlight really bring out his gold. Has anyone tried this themselves ? I'm thinking 4x10 , just wooden box style with pond liner, I'll add a top, just a frame made of 2x4's, a clear corrugated plastic roof and some screen/netting around it too keep racoons and eagles and dog drool out lol

putting him outside will also allow me time to scrap the current indoor tank and build a bigger one~!

for asian arowana they need big tank minimum size tank 4-2-2 they only swim on top of aquarium, drift wood sure be in the bottom, im sure if he got bigger he will jump out
