About the same age as mine then i take it you have got his birth certificate,just wondered if they both may be from the same farm?
Mine is quite fussy but he started eating fresh prawn,cooked or uncooked and now hes on to frozen prawn and he will always eat crickets and mealworms.

wow thats pretty cool.
i paid £400 which i think was ok.
i have a receipt from anglo aquarium dated 6/1/08 for £450 from one of the previous owners.
this fish has had at least 3 owners before me that i know of. all complained he was too aggressive.
 
Yeah i paid £412 direct from anglo,the day before i was going to pick mine up she tried to get nearly £900 out of me as i wasnt trade,but obviously i told her if you want to sell then i pay what we agreed a month before,mine has killed a few tankmates but i asked richard who runs wharf and he said put more fish in and since i put the tinnys in hes been fine and i got the dat in there too and he doesnt bother at all with my bichirs and now the aro isnt always top dog but he gives as good as he gets.i dont recommend gars with them,the second i put one in he never left it alone
But hes a lot less agressive and alot more active now with all the tinnys etc

Yeah its pretty cool,think yours is slightly higher up than mine,what kind of lighting did you use in your tank jake because that pic is great,ive got a problem with mine at the moment dont know why but some of his scales are gradually being burned away on both sides,ive checked my water and its fine but dont know what to treat him with as ive got the polys in there and they dont like meds
