My SA/CA growout tank

Looks good Rob, I just can't believe there is only 1 plant in there. As for as overstocked goes, as long as water quality is good, which it is, and fish aren't decimating eachother, who cares.

Nice little growouts Rob. I'm especially loving those Festae. I have about 10 growouts remaining from my last batch of fry. I sold 50 of them already but I'm keeping the rest until they get bigger.

Its really wierd how my female festae only gets in her spawning dress at night. The rest of the time she looks like she does in these pics. Im pretty sure that the male just aint all that ready yet, cause she gets all colored up and starts dancin for him and he cowers in a corner or swims to the other side of the tank. Maybe hes a late bloomer or something.

Awesome fish dude I just have one question the fish thats all the way to the right in the first pic what is that, my local LFS has them labeled as headstanders but Im not sure (they mislable everything they have polypterus labled as arowanas and other annoying stuff like that)

Thats a distochodus sexifasciatus or clown tetra, a carachin from africa... I really love the little guy but it just dont fit in with the sceme of my things. Im selling it this weekend. In the future I will get ne again if I ever decide to to a big african biotope tank, with some ATFs, african lung, african aro, some asstd dissos, and some big riverene cichlids like buttikoferis.
I dont know why but I just get really bugged when I see fish from different continents together... Just one of my quirks....
