My salvinis dont do anything :(

By pair I mean there's 2 of them. Sorry for not clearing that.

They seem to hate the light a lot. Even the light in the room their tank is in. When I would be watching tv with the lights off I would see them swimming around and when I get up to get something from the kitchen they hide right away. I'm like 6 feet away and theyre already scared.

If you are looking for a real active swimmers salvini are not that. They pick territories and hang out in them guarding them. They do not generally cruse aroung the whole tank in a larger tank setting. They will settle in and become less skittish in time though. Mixing them with paratheraps works well as they swim a lot.

I didn't say I want active swimmers. I just dont want them to be as skittish. I would be fine with it if they were like that at the lfs I got them at. But they were active and swam more when they were in the lfs. And there were with fishes bigger than them.

It can't be the water because I tested it and the lfs I got them from tested my water too. We both got the same results.
