I should have said he's probably not fertile. Its a male hybrid it takes some back crossing to achieve fertile males but you could get lucky. It looks like a midevil x carpintis too.

He is probably not fertile, but worth a try breeding if that's what you want to do. I'd start with a female you know is fertile or one that seems to like him to start with, if he is fertile then you can look for a nice match for him. No point wasting money on a really nice female for him to breed with if he isn't fertile. Personally I'd look for a female with a nice thick body and short face, some color, maybe some pearls, whatever she might be.

If he's fertile, the obvious choice for a mate is a Salvini. Not all hybrids need to try and be as FH-like as possible. Crossing a funny looking fish with an unconventional mate has the potential to create some unique and attractive hybrids.
