I'd imagine the price can vary depending on who you know and where you're located, sorta true for all more exotic fish

Right but around here prices are pretty good for rather rare fish but the shops that did bring in those dragons always priced them at around two grand.Its always been the most expensive fish here.

Only fish I've ever physically seen that has broken a grand. But I have heard that those angels can fetch a pretty penny

Haha ya. Those and peppermints and some sp. of butterflies. Pretty much anything salt. Black tips are usually over a grand also

They were expensive, the African was $1600 and the Japanese was $600 I've collected dragons over the years, I've never seen a African or a Small Japanese this size, I've had a few of Dragonface Morays from Hawaii that small. I bought these from Country Critters, thanks to my friend and owner Jon. This is a 24" Hawaiian I've had since he was the size of a pencil
