Never Say Never.....I have a 12" Jar with a 11" Silver, 12" Gar, 12" Tinfoil, 2 Irr sharks, 2 TSN's and a RTC, and 2 Pleco's in my tank with no aggression !!!! I know i'll need a small lake in a year but still they all get along great....I think the most aggressive one in the tank is the DAMN Tinfoild Barb!!!!! LOL...

Exactly never say never and always have and alternate place to move problem fish at a moments notice. There are many who have housed dangerous mixes, but the key to avoiding disasters is by having multiple large tanks. If you do not have alternate tanks then avoid the dangers by following guide lines.

Since it's been a week since your original post, you should be done with that 180g, right? Now you can start building another 180g, once finished then try the Jar/silver mix.

:iagree::iagree: I have 4 different tanks as back ups JUST IN CASE... You just never know...Not saying what i have here is right but it's working for right now...

th next tank i plan to build is 10*4*3
but that one is going to be done after a real real long time anyways i am getting my cousins 90g tank as he does not have anything in that for the past two years i shall keep that as an emergency tank.

nope not yet done with the fittings of the hood, i think i kind of under estimated the work required but i have promised my self that by monday evening the tank should be cycling
