wow WTF your gar got messed up. i recently got a 11 inch endli from my friend but he doesnt even bother to mess with my gar. my gars 10 1/2 inches. but he always trys to eat or beat up the 7 inch endli thats in the tank with him. theres also a 7 inch ornate but the big endli doesnt care about the ornate. they are chill, but the endli did grab the ornate by the head looked like something territorial but now hes fine with him. just once in a while the big endli snaps at the little endli. but doesnt try to eat him just territorial.

yea the gar was pretty messed up for awile....mabe i just got a bad one lol After i sold the endli he tryed to eat a 8 inch vulture cat as well. I never had the guts to try him with small ploys

it is true that mostly will depend on each individual character of the bichirs, I used to keep big and small bichirs together in the same tank, I raised them since they were juvies, and never had any problems with that. But always making sure that food are sufficient at all time. Having said so, mixing a big specimen with a smaller one is always a risk.

yes what garniac said is right. every endli is different. mine is extremely mild and mellow as compared to my angsty lapradei.
