Congrats on the spawn.
The hard part is getting them to pair in the first place ;-)
Sevs are nutoriously bad parents, so expect many a failed spawn before they get it right.
But - theres some bad news.
Golds and (by accounts) super reds show a higher level of infertility then greens thanks to their extensive line breeding. Dont be suprised if they never get it right.
Also to argue the toss when its comes to Gold severums vs red severums is a bit misleading. A red severum is just a higher "grade" (i hate that word, sounds like discus breeding ;-) ) of gold severum (although the females show stunning markings...)
But, i babble on.
A male Gold severum "can" look near identical to a super red (the females however, will look very differant, and guessing that your 2 fish came from the same store, they'll be siblings, so if the females lacking those red markings - chances are that they aren't super reds)
