i been around before chad and scott.. i been around since red1.. jarian and brian scott and i been on alot of other forums myself for years. bro grow up.. your the only one that bust my chops about this.. quite a few people here will back me up...i have own cichla alot longer then 6 years and they are the only fish i keep and i only collect wild ones. you eventually gain an eye, and yes there are methods to i.d.ing ....use the search button and you will see alot of post by me that helps explain how to i.d.wild cichla from farmies. i only see you post here once and a blue yet everytime you always give me a problem..suck up your b.s. pride and maybe you will learn a thing or too.

just keep your temp 87, your water clean and spread around the food and you shouldnt lose any. maybe one of the whipping boys but that happens sometimes

No worries that tan gets waterchanged 2-3 times per week and fed well.

Its probably the fact that the only lighting is natural sunlight which really brings out his colouration.
