He's unbelievable, he eats so much, and eats anything.

He eats frozen cockles, bloodworm, lancefish, market prawns, other fish, and he's even started to eat cichlid pellets.

Usually people have to starve their fish to eat pellets, not this one.

This morning I fed him some cut up fresh monkfish fillet. Enough that his belly looked completely full.

Then just now I crushed a few cichlid gold pellets for my small convict and hujeta, and my snakehead is eating it all. Unbelievable.

however, quite a result that all my fish except for the wolf are eating cichlid gold pellets :D

Also I have to feed that snakehead until he is completely full for him to stop trying to kill my other fish, and even then it doesn't last long. He eats till his belly is bulging, rests a bit, then starts darting after the other fish trying to kill them and ripping their fins. Including a goldfish that is bigger than him.

Btw he is about 4.5 inches now, he's grown about an inch since I got him 10 days ago.

It's an albino one. I'm pretty sure it's an albino micropeltes, as it looks like the albino micro's listed on another site, it's super aggressive, and it's grown an inch in 10 days.

we have the same prob... my baby micropeltes are eating all the shrimp that are for the lucius that are in the same tank as them...

you have a little red in the same tank as a pike?

How are they getting on?

What's the size difference, and has the SH attacked the pike yet?

wait till it gets bigger it will start going for your hand when you put it in your tank all the large reds and cobras i've had after 10" they wanted to eat my hand for some reason

You might just be really tasty Reefman. :headbang2

I know it's crazy. When I got him he was about 3.5 inches and skinny as hell. Now he's around 4.5 inches and very beefy.

Maybe so far in his life he's been underfed and I've given him a varied and plentiful diet, that's probably why he's had a growth spurt.
