When I rehomed them, the largest was pushing 9", and the smallest was around 4".

Cichlas;4858627; said:Strange selling name. The only red dotted shark I know of is the Labeo rubropunctatus, which those definitely aren't. That is really odd regarding the stripes fading though. Hasselti have red dots on their scales, which would fit with the strange name they were sold under, but never heard of them having stripes, so I'm still thinking there were two different species. In your first pic in the thread, the fish on the right looks like the Hasselti, the stripy ones still look like wandersii, so maybe their stripes were staying washed out.
