The diets are frozen bloodworms during the quarantine stage and solely on Live shrimps once released into the pond.

I believe that the growth rate much depends on the water quality, continuous food availability and space. The rays stay in a 200 sq. ft X 3 ft depth, 20,000 litres water volume, ever ready food supplies and 25% water change daily.

About the price, it's rather subjective. Yes, it could be cheaper than MM when it newly arrived and unstable but not for those already stabled and acclimatised. You know well about this
