The H. Liberifer is pushing 11in estimated as he is not quite half the width of the tank's 24in. The largest SD is maybe half the size of the H.L. with the others all around 4-5in. 2 are showing a faint tiger pattern too.Beautiful !!!
Very nice group! Very healthy looking.
What size would you say they are ? That is a big several too!
I was able to snag all 6 that the shop had.Beautiful! How many red hooks did you get? I see four beautiful lady fishes. The other two I can’t even tell what kind they are. Those will get a lot bigger than your Metynnis. Congrats!
I too now have four species of SDs, with the new baby tigers (all Metynnis, though). Unfortunately I only have a single M. altidorsalis. Soon they will all be together in the new tank, which is now ready to receive them!
Tried for some more pictures but they are to skittish. Looks like I might have 6 gals but they need their find to heal up first.
Post up some pictures. I'm sure the brain collective will be able to tell.fishguy1978 this was a fun thread to read through. Thank you and F FJB for the commentary, I am interested in learning more about the different sp of silver dollars. This thread makes me want to do one similar for the ones I have.
regarding the new m. Rubripinnis- I wonder if the anal fin will develop with more age? I thought I had all females in my group of m. Setiger and just recently they have developed more and it looks as if I have 2m 3f. Not sure if that was an accurate observation or not, but it seemed to appear that way on my end.
