No i did not have. The smallest of loach in this Tank is about 6 inches. Everybody know that the small loach may be the delicious food for tiger fish. However the loach can make the tiger fish become injuried from its spike near the mouth. I had seen the picture show the amatus was died after try to eat the small loach. The loach's spike penetrate the mouth.

Very fat and beutiful CT. Any where in Bangkok to get small Cambodia Tiger? If yes, could you recommend me the name of the shop and address... I might goto Thailand soon... As ST is gone in Thailand, is CT also illegal to sell in Thailand? Thanks.

Yes, All of ST and CT are illegal in Thailand but it is not strickly!! However u can not buy CT in the market, u must buy from the agency. The price of CT in thailand is more expensive comapred with the price last 5 year. for 4-5 inches with six strap is about 22000 in Thai Baht. but with the seven strap is about 14000 in THai baht. (convert to US dollar by divied the price with 31)
 
Wow....it is indeed very expensive even in Thailand. I can get CT in Malaysia for USD 1K for CT around 18" inch(not through fish shop but private agent). I though Thailand would be more cheaper. Thanks for the inform.
 
The price of CT in Thailand is increase compared with the 10 years ago. because there are some story. After the ST is gone from Thailand, the agency import CT from Combodia for a while. At that time( 10 year ago) the price is about 20 US dollar for 3 inches of CT. Five years later, no any CT in Thailand, everybody percept that CT is also gone from Combodia Lake!!!!!. No any CT in Thailand for 5-6 years. In the market there are the tiger fish from the Indonesia. During this time the price of CT is increasing according to the difference between demand and supply. The size of the last CT in thailand grew upto 12 inches. In the perfect fish, the price is about 1000 -1200 US dollar. or up to 1500 US for 20 inches. At the end of 2010, there were tiger fish import from Combodia again!!!, It is a big issue in Thailand. Someone told me, they did not come from Combodia but they came from vietnam. Howevere I did not know the truth. So the price for small CT that sell in the market increase double. because of illegal, difficult to find and import. The agency need to pay any extracharge to import them. So they affect the price of CT in Thailand.
I would like to ask u, Do u know the status of CT in Combodia?. Impending gone? or still has alot in the lake. And is it difficult the find the CT in your market? Thank your
 
As i know there are at least 2 agency who import the CT in Thailand. and distribute to the shop. However, the shop can not present them because of illegal. These are the small CT of my friend in Thailand, He bought them at the end of 2010

Very Nice!!! I got no idea of the CT status in Cambodia. If the government is not
control the situation, ppl will hunt until lesser & lesser to get in the wild and eventually will be the same situation as ST I guess.
