Beer doesn't seem to last long in the fridge due to my friends, i prob should have put it behind a hidden door or find a mini vending machine.

No drop eye for this silver! had since it was 6", sister died but this one is about 6 years old or something around that.

The hair curlers were from the very very first setup i made.I always tried to kept the bacteria alive from setup to setup, trasnporting the orginal bio media to the new setup, while adding some new media to it.

well you should now think about maybe ditching them (the curlers),total waste of sump space to be honest, have about the same same effect as some stones in the sump, maybe less.

Otherwise nice job!:D

Ive been working on it slowly. I buy a few packs of pot scrubbies all the time to add and change out bio media. I can't find them in bulk for a good price. I used to have plenty of bio media but i used it all on this large sump, my double 80's sump, the wet/dry for my pond, and i gave away a bunch in a 250 setup i sold to a mfk member and the rest to arlo's double stack 80's.

Anyone know where they sell scrubbies for cheap?
Big lots has them 6 for $1.50

I personaly feel that a fludized bed filter is one of the best bio filter to have on a setup.

The electrical bill isn't so bad actully. Half of the reason for the design is to save on power. Im running one large airpump with 8 outlets, which is better then 4 med ones. All 6 tanks are running thru two sumps which has allowed me to cut back on fltraion and unplug many things. The temp in my room is fairly constant so the heaters never have to work very hard and in the summer i unplug them most of the time (room is very humid and full of moisture because of all the water, the air gets hot or cold very easily).

Your right, so mannny pippes and tubbess. But over time you learn to love them.
