I still have no idea why he died. He was acting normal even the day before he died. He was eating and swimming normally. Then the next morning I found him upside down at the bottom of the tank. I tried lifting him up to the surface to breath. But I guess it's too late. After 15 mins and he was dead. The only thing I can think of is that a month ago he hitted his head to the glass while I was cleaning the tank. He was upside down for a few mins and then he was alright again. Was he suffering from concussion, or internal breeding? He was housed with another three pleuros and an endicheri.
He was 11" at his death :(

Yep, everyone else is normal. I was sad to see him gone.... :(
When I first got him, he was only 3-4"

damn he is fat! sorry for your loss:( ...did you performed a water change before he passed away?any chemicals?chlorine? or maybe a fatty liver disease?:( please share so that others will learn from mistakes..thanx:(

very sad.. so sorry for your loss of this beautiful fish.

The water is fine. The only possible reason is the knock on the glass. Definitely didn't die of H5N1 ;)
He was much more beautiful when alive. He looked blue instead of the olive green in the photo.

Sorry for your loss. that was one good looking fish.
