my snakeheads collection [monster species]

Nice little monster , Look at that face!

and you are correct it's channa punctata , Your tanks all look very open an bare for snakeheads. I recommend adding hides/substrate plants, floating cover ETC. You'll get better behavior and appearance from the Channa if they are given a heavily decorated tank so they cab feel comfortable in there home.

actually d following specimen was brought from d market.......ya it was like a monster with proteuding teeth
n was for temporary.with me....since i hav diplo now,so i thought to give him little space for swimming
n he is very interactive with me........i mean to say no sign of stress in fish

Ahh that makes sense.

And your right diplo's are more of a free swimming fish it is a good idea to give him the space!

If it were me,I'd load the tank, or half of it, with giant vals (vallisneria), this gives them the cover , and breaks up the tank without obstructing swimming space as the channa can easily swim straight through it! I think it would also look really nice bright green val's with a big black/blue diplo swimming through.

But I dnt know much about plantation
I mean about substrate and soil, fertiliser, co2 diffuser

Dont worry about that stuff, just keep it low tech, None of that stuff is needed.

I have all my snakehead tanks planted and none of them use c02, or soil or fertilizers. Just regular old river sand a couple inches deep and slap in the plants. Big snakeheads produce a pretty heavy bio load, should be plenty of nutrients too keep the plants healthy and happy.

Good luck! show off some pics when your done !
