I don't have the obscura. I used to have three all three died of rotten flesh disease. Emperor is around 26-27 inches.

lovely tank and awesome sh. would you mind telling me more about "rotten flesh disease?" i think one of my channa had this a long time ago - how does it happen and how can you cure it?

that emperor is amazing. the angle of that first pic makes it look kind of like a carp, but thats a gorgeous picture.

Some say it look like an African arowana and some say it look like a carp. LoL! tHANKS!

It would depend on personalities of individual and also within species and size.

It cause usually by bad water quality and stress. I cure it by doing water change about 50% and add salt about 1tsp per 3g.

Yep it is. Never did try to kill any body or threaten anyone. Unless the other fish was a jerk from the start.
