Thanks Koji for answering my question from the other thread with a real pic. That's a huge and very nice jardini. I like it. It lost its barbels? About Asians' views towards non-Asian arowanas, I can totally understand what you said. My relatives in Asia had no ideas what silver/black and jardinis were when I told them about what I keep here in the States. They have a super nice green and chilli red.

It do have barbels. Just that it's small and short which curl to the side and it look as it got no barbels at all.:D
 
Its shape looks closest resemblance to Asian's that I've seen, pretty high on the rear end. I want my jar to have this shape.

Ive got a question for you I got my jar at 4 inchs.Hewas missing a couple scales with the green patern on them almost down to flesh when i got him .i thought he was srill baeutiful and got him anyway.the colored scale has never grown back the others just kinda grew larger to cover the spot is this normal and is it always going to stay this way. he is now 14 inches so i'm guessing yes but i thought o pro could tell me.yes or no?

Ok i will take one in a few minutes and post it but i just have a point and shoot and the flash makes him mad so i will only take one or two of his left side where his scale is missing give me a few cool.

Hi HULON, a picture will help for I can't really make up what you are trying to tell me here.;)
 
About taking pics of my jar, I took many many many pics and only a handful come out good-enough to show. Hint hint: dSLR! And forget about turning on the light, with it on, he's just stayed in a corner at the bottom. I have a video to show that, but can't post it here. YouTube will be the place.
