Hey man I suggest you to do a daily excersice with him that is called as "Mirror O Mirror"
In this excersice you need to buy a small mirror and to make him play or show his aggression to it and you will see a noticable change in his kok and body coloration after a due course of time.

"BUT BE CAREFUL THAT NO MORE THAN 5 MIN.OR IT WILL MAKE HIM MORE AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS HIS TANK MATES"

Good advice, you can also try a school anything fast moving. Or a female blood parrot

IMG_5119.JPG Thanks , this guy will be in the 135 gal soon , I injured my shoulder so I haven't had a chance to remove the old syilicone & reseal the tank it has never leaked but 25 years is pushing it , this tank has always been running up until last year. He is doing time in a 55gal. With two other trouble makers a parrot & a jack Dempsey had to put up a divider & he rams it when I feed the other guys
