My srm

That's what threw me off, but SRM usually look like this before they fade. So I have no doubt it's what he says it is.

If you google this, there are some obscure references that seem to be consistent. I just bought 6 small Super Red Shock from Thailand - I was told these are the same cross as Super Red Monkey. The difference is the ones that fade are called SRM's and the ones that don't are called SRS's. I found a reference that these fish are produced by a female Red Syn crossed with a male Red Hartwegi. It is my impression that both parents are hybrids also - one with Synspillum and the other with Hartwegi. What they are crossed with is not clear but would seem likely they would be crossing these to KKP or Mammon - the fading genes gotta come from somewhere. So these are at least hybrids of hybrids and more than likely hybrids of hybrids of hybrids. The one thing that seems certain is there are a lot of Vieja genes in these guys.

I am no expert on these, just sharing what I have found in my searching whether it be true or not.

I was thinkin it had parrot in them, bcuz 99% males r infertile, n thts were orange comes from when they fade
