I thinks its possible. But if you get a mean g/t or a mean black belt, it may take the whole tank for itself. Time will tell though just watch for early aggresion and be ready to act. Oh and I would say 40-50 percent water changes twice a week.

Oh and black belts can get pretty big. Biggest I have seen was 15 inches. Asian fish store in White Center washington
well the BB has a chance to get up to 16 inches so if he takes the tank for himself thats fine im willing to go with one 16 inch fish just need ur guys oppinion on if thats ok on the behalf of the fis cause my tank is only 18 inches wide and the fish ( if im saying IF he gets up to 16 inches ) would only have 2 inches to turn around in but would have good swimming room tho.. if i was left with a 12 inch GT that again would be fine.. but im hoping that they would co-exsist tho.
wow didnt expect him to say this but i asked grandpa ( he likes my hobby ) if i can use his basement for the summer as a fishroom ( winter it gets used for wood for the wooodstove down there ) he says he"l think about it... SWEET so a mini fishroom is in consideration!!!! and also asked gramma bout getting a 120 if i quit smoking she said no the floor wont hold it in the living romm dang it.... well im moving out by 2011 so ya i better stock up on tanks wheather in use or not...
BB is the main prob I see. Even in very large tanks they are very mean.
GT may be OK. Depends if you have a psycho or not.
That many cons breeding will be tough to handle too.

i think it said all females didnt it? if there is breeding pair i agree though def not a good idea may cause otherwise mellow GT (dont know about BB temperaments never had one) to have enough a lash out on everyone, my male GT doesnt bother anyone but he will definitely defend himself if someone tries to mess with him and if his "wife" beats on him then he goes and takes it out on the other fish lolMonteSS;3808961; said:
