Ahhh got ya. I've never kept african cichlids only CA/SAs. I'm sure that it would be easy here in Socal with the hard water we have. I actually don't know much about Africans but it looks like you have a very impressive stocklist. Best of luck raising the fry.

yes, but wild caughts, tank bred can handle from 7.2 up to 9.0 ( well frontosa can handle up to 9.0 ) and mines 7.6 or 7.8.

so has anyone used start right? i have used aquasafe many a times, but dont remember using start right. the aquasafe bottle does 100 gallons and the start right does 480, so i should be good for the rest of this month, as i use 5 gallon pales to do water changes ( use i use buckets still lol )

one more 55 left, and going to set up another tank for the OB peacock babys ( maybe a 2.5 or 5 gallon for now tell a few weeks then a 20 gallon.. )

I am not sure what you did with the fry yet if you did anything, if you have a 10gal handy I would use that for them for now. Thats what I used to use.

As for your stock list, what fish are going in which tanks - that would be helpful to know in order to give suggestions
