my story from guppies to MFK

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's good to see another young MFK'er on here that's had a similar experience to mine.

just think.. now that you have fish theres no need to worry about getting a job, car, bf/gf or any of that other stuff... congrats :)

Cool, atleast you are learning. Im no expert either, and I still learn everyday. Certain fish I know about and some I dont. SO for now I stick with the ones I am good with. But I dont think theres 1 person who keeps fish, that never made bad mistakes when they started. What kinda stuff do you wanna stock in the bigger tanks?

in the 210 i want some (7-9) frontosa. in the 150 i want a really nice reef... its gonna take some work but i can get tanks to look really nice if i can hold off on my impulse buying habit... lol

im glad a lot of people have had similar experiences. its a process that takes time and a few well planned convincing talks to parents about how "nice" that big new tank will look in that spot. lol

it's sad that so many of us make so many (and bad) mistakes early on, I guess it's just paving the way for the care we can give our animals later. Lord knows I killed my fair share of fish early on for trying to put too many of the wrong things in the wrong tank.

Wow! What a progression!

interesting story, and lol so many tanks and goodluck on your 210 and 150

thanks. getting the tanks are not definite but my parents would be stupid not to take the 210. a guy is offering it to us for $300!!!:WHOA: and for a 150. ill be patient and wait a year or two to get that. so my dad forgets about how my tanks now are burning larger and larger holes in his wallet. especially now that i want corals and reefs. :)
