Ghenhis is what the "white guys" that wrote the history books named him.
Mongolians know him as Chinggis Khaan, alot of Mongolians claim to be direct descendants. His picture is everywhere and he is a source of great pride for them.

:eek:this is my face.... this has been wonderful.. but i am in awe.. these pics are fantastic.. and your food...awesome.. just yummy the way it is presented.. they must have loved you there..haha... the scenery is breathtaking.. their houses are actually quite nice.. their animals look pretty well cared for.. and i could not believe that is the coldest capital city in the world in the winter.. geez that must be cold as can possibly be... do they get alot of snow too... how short is thier summer.. the people look like nice people.. what a wonderful trip and experience to look back on...

not too much snow usually, just cold temps.
I arrived in the end of May and wasn't prepared for the cold, could see your breath and I had summer clothes. Then when I left in the end of August it seemed to be getting cold again. So 2.5 months of warm weather total.

Mongolia is known for over 300 sunny cloudless days a year though.
