  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I surely they are really motoro. In my country we call "Motoro Star spots". I have some experience about them. Some of babies, they have apparent of star spots but some of them when they growth up, the star spots are disappear. They have some rays can save star spot until they growth.

I think its surrounding are effected with the spot. First time I feeds them in the tank with black bottom. The star spots was loose in 1 month but after I move them to white pond the spots are come back.

Apporogize me. The first one is Normal Motoro. All picture in country we call "Motoro Star spots" it's not a Marble Motoro. I love your Motoro so much because those are many spacial spots as much as I have seen.

what Voodoo said is true!

In Thailand, many peruvian motoros develop a marbled pattern or star pattern when they grow up.

Based on my experience, the star pattern will appear when they reach 8-10 inches, and when the rays are kept in white suuroundiing, the star spots tend to appear more obviously.

personally, i have owned more than 10 peruvian motoros that develop star pattern at the size of 8 inches.
the first sign that make you know that your motoro is going to have star pattern or not is the white spot betweent he eye.
most of them develop white spots between the eyes first, then the spot will come up over the body

and importantly
if you move the star spot motoro to the dark tank or with dark substrate, the star patterrn will disappear for sure
