my table tank

I want to get a 4' x 4 ' x 1 ft tank rimless and do plants and dwarf neon rainbows or rams or something

I've seen a few of these and I really don't know what to make of them. They seem kinda a pain being so low to the ground, and more ornamental because you cannot get down to enjoy them. Looking down on a fish tank just does not do it for me, regardless of how cool your tank does look. To each his own. I hope that doesn't come off wrong, I think your tank looks good, it is just not one I would personally set up.

Koi are really bred to be viewed from above... that's the whole point. A koi in a normal tank is not a pretty fish.
