My Tank and Fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I didn't have a ray at the time of owning mine , but it did scrap a lot with my other cats and birchir thats the reason why I ask , im a bit paranoid about putting a new one in with my ray

Sorry for the late reply, it didn't show up for some reason :/ mine has need absolutely fine with my ray so far, he was a bit of a pest for the first week but now he leaves the ray alone most of the time, I would say it depends on the individual fish but all is peaceful in my tank ATM :)

Just a little update, they are all growing nicely :) managed to get a pic of 1 of the angels and the group cl this time too.

The pike is being sold because it doesn't get along with my ATF, a bit gutted but the ATF has always been a dream fish of mine so it was an easy decision in the end.

The tank is bare bottom ATM but will soon be tiled, I liked the sand but it washed to fish colour out slightly and maintenance is much easier!

You never know it could work , all I can say is be prepared to either have another setup if it kicks off , or loose one fish jars can be an absolute nightmare ;) you've got more chance growing them up together if your gona go for it though IMO

Yea I would probably get 1 just a little bit smaller than the tiger, I could easily rehome a jar but I hate selling fish lol it might be worth a shot! I'm more worried about the jar getting killed... I know they can be mean but 1 bite from the ATF and something's gonna be missing! I think I would add a clear divider to start with just to see how they act with each other, I will update here if I decide to try it anyway :p

That's why I've never tried it its one bite that may see him off or damage them for life ,although I have had wolfs and snakeheads in with jars in the past and never had fatal blows , big tigerfish are very active though they may get in each others way too much causing fights , plus there silver both the jars I've had smash silver fish up they catch there eye too often IMO
