My tank and its polys

Thanks guys, getting an eel tomorrow, and attempting to get some mystus catfish, might get an ornate (can't get any lower jaw bichirs here, we can get palmas polli but they are scarce). Selling my Gt's and festae. Now I have to just grow everything out including plants, a nice lush setup with some monsters should look sick.
 
really like your setup and the new deal is cool.

about the plants, doesn't look like your light is bright enough for the type you bought (vallisneria).

Try looking for different species of cryptocoryne, they do great in low-light tanks.
 
Didn't buy Val, its illegal here. Its a swordplant: Uraguayensis. I'm no plant guru, but in the past I have had success with swords, so I continued the theme.

Thanks guys; unfortunately the eel died on transport so no eel in there. Keeping stock solid at the moment: Jardini, 3x bala sharks, flagtail (great colour on fins), 3x dels, 4 sens.

I have a couple of mystus cats growing up in the sump, thinking about adding them to the tank, they should be ok with bichirs right? Jardini might not like them? I also have a jag cichlid I am tempted to put in, he will be way smaller than jardini - most likely that will be hit and miss I suppose.

Do jag cichlids go for bichirs much? Bichirs at this stage are bigger, but will the jag hassle them?
