Love the six bar and flagtail. Real brutes. Any aggression or bullying with them? I have had several of these guys in the past who have had widely varying temperaments, with some being pleasant and others being bulldozers.

the six bar disticodus is the bulldog one, often chasing other tankmates, even my blue got their fins ripped. But he wouldnt bother tankmates bigger than him or more aggressive than him like zungaro cf.
 
How long have you had the distichodus?
 
hmmm about 3 years I think, I bought it when only around 10cm.
 
If these pics of your black aro were posted in your silver or black aro thread...it would probably end the confusion. Pic one has the perfect lighting and angle of the scales which says it all imo along with a couple other obvious features from all of your pics..posting these there may help greatly
