My Tank Has Reddish Spots On Glass

Hi everybody! New to this website and just had a question about my tank. There seems to be spots and I thought it was red spot algae but doesn’t seem to be as bright. If anybody could tell we what it is and if it is bad or not.

My bad! It’s a 75 gallon freshwater tank. It’s been running for 5 months

Does it blow off easily or is it hard to remove?
Looks like it could be either Cyanobacteria or early black beard algae. Both are a pain to deal with.

It’s fairly easy. It takes about 5 swipes with a mag float

I agree with Deadeye on the Cyanobacteria. It can be a pain to get off, but i fine those blue chuck cloth work well

Check your params to see if anything is majorly off to feed it.

I also think it’s cyano, personally I like cyano on the rocks, but not the glass, but it can be hard to get rid of
